Australian-born mezzo-soprano Sidra Nissen is a current Young Artist with Opera Australia. She is a graduate of Melbourne Opera’s Richard Divall Emerging Artist Program and the winner of the 2025 IFAC Handa Australian Singing Competition. In 2025, Sidra also received First Prize at the Opera Scholars Australia Aria Competition.
Sidra holds a Bachelor of Music (Performance) with First Class Honours from the Melbourne Conservatorium of Music.
